PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Project Leader ILS and PI is responsible and mandated to lead, manage and control all ILS and PI related activities in the project to deliver on requirement, budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)

  • Manage and lead the Integrated Logistic Support for the project to secure an integrated cooperation in the areas of Engineering RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) and LCC (Life Cycle Cost) customer’s manuals, special tools, spare parts, customer’s training etc. both internally and towards the Customer.
  • Ensure the fulfilment of DOORS Requirement Management process for the ILS areas.
  • Ensure that field experience and field data is feed back to the project in accordance with the PI processes during start-up, design, realization and field support phases (this includes providing support for the Design for Maintenance of Engineering).
  • Follow-up and review of suppliers’ CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) input to RAM/LCC, spare parts, tools, Customer Documentation and Training.
  • Ensure that the Engineering RAM analysis delivers an optimized maintenance plan coordinated and inter-linked with the customers manuals.
  • Ensure that the ILS deliverables to customer are verified and delivered to agreed parties in the customer’s organization.

Product Introduction (PI)

  • Responsible, together with the Project Manager and the designated Customer Site Manager, to establish the strategy and mobilization plan for PI warranty support in customers service.
  • Secure Warranty Service agreements with suppliers.
  • Follow-up and review of suppliers CDRL input to PI.
  • Plan and cooperate with the customers’ maintainer for a clear definition and agreement for the use of the customers’ infrastructure.

Retrofit management

  • When required, responsible, within the context of the specific project, to ensure that delivered products receives agreed rectification through retrofit programs and similar.

Qualifications

  • An Engineering degree is highly desired;
  • Senior experience in relevant roles, with an engineering background (either mechanical or electrical) in a similar industry (ideally transportation such as railway, aerospace, but also automotive or other industrial/engineering environments);
  • RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) and LCC (Life Cycle Cost) skills are required;
  • Commissioning and warranty service experience is required;
  • Would be valuable to have an understanding of Maximo or a similar system;
  • Very good communication skills, customer orientation, teamwork and problem-solving skills;
  • Advanced/business fluent level of Swedish and English is mandatory.
